2008 coming to a close

2008 been a year of many incident, personally and globally. Well, the puny me can't make much of different to the global happening, but personally, it's a fun filled year. A year of exploration and a year of getting to know more of myself while i grow older and to lookout for newer things in life. Life is never easy, unless your born with a golden spoon, even so, their life ain't easy, looks easy, but they have other things to worry as well. Guess no one is perfect, as one once says, if things are perfect, there's nothing else to do in this world anymore. Well, it's half right and half wrong. i am not siding either of them, so let's move on.

sharon asked me what's my most memorable moment in 2008 as the radio DJ asked one of the artist on air last evening, to me, the most memorable event was my trip to HK recently. Was a great experience having my holiday with my gf sharon, learned a lot of things about her during this trip, well, relationships are all about learning to be with each other, and there are times where both of us are not talking to each other, even on a trip, well, we manage to find the balance between both when we are not in the liking of a decision, personal views and all, but hell yeah, we have been through it and we manage to deal with it as a couple, i dare not say that we will never argue or fight over things that we believe in, but it's the negotiation and tolerance that we have inside of us that pulls us together, another year has pass and marking another year that we have grow in living together. And amen to that, i still love her as much as i loved her from the day we have decided to be together.

2008 is a year of success in my career, and 2009 is a year of challenge. A choice has been made and moving on i have. so best wishes to everyone that i know and for another year has gone pass and welcome another year to come. Watchout and be careful while we usher the new year tonight. take care and have fun. :)

In between by Linkin Park

This song is featured in their newest album "Minutes to Midnight"....while i was ipoding while i was writing my doc. I felt a sudden rush of feeling of my frustration. and here is the lyrics to this magnificent song

inkin Park In Between Lyrics
Songwriters: Bennington, Chester; Farrell, Dave; Shinoda, Mike; Delson, Brad; Hahn, Joseph; Bourdon, Robert;

Let me apologize to begin with,
Let me apologize for what I’m about to say,
But trying to be genuine was harder than it seemed,
But somehow I got caught up in between.

Let me apologize to begin with,
Let me apologize for what I’m about to say,
But trying to be someone else was harder than it seemed,
But somehow I got caught up in between.

Between my pride and my promise,
Between my lies and how the truth gets in the way,
The things I want to say to you get lost before they come,
The only thing that’s worse than one is none.

Let me apologize to begin with,
Let me apologize for what I’m about to say,
But trying to regain your trust was harder than it seemed,
But somehow I got caught up in between.

Between my pride and my promise,
Between my lies and how the truth gets in the way,
The things I want to say to you get lost before they come,
The only thing that’s worse than one is none,
The only thing that’s worse than one is none.

And I cannot explain to you,
In anything I say or do or plan,
Fear is not afraid of you,
But guilt’s a language you can understand,
I cannot explain to you in anything I say or do,
But hope the actions speak the words they can.

For my pride and my promise,
For my lies and how the truth gets in the way,
The things I want to say to you get lost before they come,
The only thing that’s worse than one is none.

For my pride and my promise,
Between my lies and how the truth gets in the way,
The things I want to say to you get lost before they come.

The only thing that’s worse than one is none. (3x)

Enjoy.

Okay, news from Fomula1

Well, i think a lot of ppl might already know that Hamilton won and Massa was second, while Kimi came in third after a pit stop switch to have Massa take the chequered flag in 2nd place. Now all teams will head to Brazil to the final round as Hamilton has a commanding lead of 7 points. he could just take 5th to win him the driver's trophy and being the first black and youngest driver to win a championship. Well, by just doing so, that means Mclaren will be conceding their constructor's to Ferrari, something that they have to wary about how they are going to play the game of putting their car as Heikki is a bit of a disappointment lately of a few DNF forcing Mclaren to only have Hamilton accummulating the points. So, let wait for the finale on the 2nd of Nov to see who is crown the F1 driver champion for 2008. :)

i put my bet on Massa...hehehe

Wrapping up the sports weekend

Liverpool equal the top with a win @ home against Wigan 3-2. Two goals from Kuyt, where they trail 2 goals before claiming the win. Well, my heart almost popped out cause the leader Chelsea pounded Middlesbrough 5-0. And they seems to be quite fit and soon, the big game will come when both of them clash in the coming weeks.

All hail Kuyt this week. Hopefully Robby Keane will start some scoring escapade soon. com'on Keane...

Another event to follow is the Shanghai formula1 championship, second to last round of the 2008 formula1 championship, due to the driver scoring to be so close, there might be a winner in this race, else it will be determine @ the last race in brazil.

The Driver Score at the moment.

01 Lewis Hamilton 84
02 Felipe Massa 79
03 Robert Kubica 72

And the constructors standing
01 Ferrari 142
02 McLaren-Mercedes 135
03 BMW Sauber 128

Well my money would be on Felipe Massa, and even alonso vow to help him if that chance arise to let him pass and for him to gather more point to notch up Lewis Hamilton for the crown. Personally, i never liked Hamilton, he's young, fast, but too arrogant and too stupid sometimes. I've seem ruthless driving before in the schumacher era where schumacher will run anyone down for that matter, but Hamilton is just a different case. Robert Kubica could be acting like that Kimi did last year to come from 3rd of the standing and then snatch a win @ the end of the championship, but then, Kubica is starting out of the top 10 placing due to a setup problem during qualifying hence dropping him of the Q3 qualifying. A lot to watch for when the race start around 2pm today.

The starting grip for today's 2008 FORMULA 1 SINOPEC CHINESE GRAND PRIX

1. Lewis Hamilton Britain McLaren-Mercedes 01:36.303
2. Kimi Raikkonen Finland Ferrari-Ferrari 01:36.645
3. Felipe Massa Brazil Ferrari-Ferrari 01:36.889
4. Fernando Alonso Spain Renault-Renault 01:36.927

Birthday gift 2008

Well, this is an extremely late late late super late posting, reason is i was lazy to take out my camera to take a shot at it. hehe. finally i did and i found the time to put it up. :)

As you could see in the picture that it's a Parker pen, and this no ordinary Parker pen, as it's from that someone special and it has my initial engraved on it.

This gift came to me quite surprisingly as i have already hinted to sharon that i'm okay if i don't receive a gift this year due to the plan that had to go to hong kong for our trip which will cost us both a fair bit. But with this i was given a surprise, i loved it. Although it's just a simple gift, a gift that didn't cost too much, but yet, it symbolise the love, attention and care that she could show to me, even when i insisted that i'm alright without it. Inside the secret comparement that the box has, there's a little note inside, well, i'm not going to publish that note. Well, some of you might just fall flat on their face if i do, but then, i rather kept it to myself. muahahahaha. *warm.

Thank you baby for the gift. i love it a lot. i'll have it carry with me all the time that i could.

my initial on it. :)

running over stuff

not sure if it's a sign for me to drive slower lately as i saw a few indication of very dangerous emergency breaking of cars in front and even those besides of me. well i did not really have notice them until i sort of knock off the toll gate barrier stick this morning. Well, i blame it on the stupid technology that they use for the toll gates. During peak hours, traffic increases and therefore the line up, and the purpose of getting a smart tag is all about not winding down your window and queue. But there's a lot of times when some rich kid/uncles, who do not maintain their unit, which causes jam on the fast smart tag lane. Other than that, what happened this morning is that the barrier did not response fast enough when i pass through it and whoop, off it went swinging to the sides. it's not entirely my fault as my unit was scanned and money was deducted....why can't malaysia do it the SG ERP way, there's good and bad about it as rumor says that the ERP emits hell a lot of radiation as it's pretty powerful to detect even fast passing cars. Singaporeans die faster i guess...Best still if all road are toll less...that day will never come. just hoping now more doesn't come up.

lost my temper on a holiday @ manhattan fish market...

Well, first of all, i would like to greet all my Malay frens and their family "Selamat Hari Raya" as it's their new year. :)

Well, having a two days holiday makes ppl move around, especially on this festive season, and i decided to drop by ikea @ ikano center to look for some decoration idea for my room, need some resuffling around to make space. So happily drove down without much of a hassle as the traffic was good and clear. That brought smile onto both me and sharon's face. Well, what a better way to enjoy a day off doing some small shopping stress free. When i was thinking further of enjoying my day, it all started when i was about to turn into ikea from the highway. OMG. the jam started from there before even the traffic lights. i endure and moved in inch by inch and finally found a parking @ the curve being partly empty. Which doesn't really explain why the jam, oh well, not gonna give much thought to that. Maybe during the off days, ppl won't bring their brains out.

Walking around and seeing stuff wasn't that bad until we decided to grab some food. All the food outlets are pack with ppl in ikano, and due to that we'll be going into ikea, so we decided to have a quick lunch and move forwards. Paving around to decide where to land, we end up in Manhattan Fish Market. We were greeted when we stepped in and we shown to a table. Due to the festive season, i notice that only 8 person, including those in the kitchen are working to manage the whole place. Well, good management and coordination might just pull it off. After deciding what to order, it took me a while to practically grab a waiter to take my orders. Present at that time was around 10 table of customer, a few family groups. After the waiter taking my order, without writing them down, she just speed of telling another waiter about my order and then disappear into the kitchen, well, i could see her helping out throught the transparent kitchen concept that they constructed. Not too long after us, a goup of 6 ppl came and sat not far from us, and they were served promptly, which eventually their drinks went to them and not reach my table while i was observing. At that very moment, i told sharon that if their food comes first and not even my drinks, that's it, i'm walking away. i waited for another 5 mins, then and there i noticed that there are a few table that are missing their portion of the order, and the waiter as running up and down to calm other patrons down, i gave a look at sharon and both of us just stood up and walked away, i'm pretty furious inside and thinking, darn, i know it's bad for you guys to work on a your new year's day, but if your so down in man-power. for the sake of it, close the shop down rather than risking your reputation. And i guess this is the first time that i've done this. I guess it won't be the last i think. From today onwards, i shall ban myself from patronising Manhattan Fish Market @ Ikano Power Center until further notice. i end up lining up for hot dog @ ikea. sigh. then again, i ended up back in klang for pan mee later on. nice....

i'm not being racist or anything, just usual ranting about bad service that's all. happy holidays!

it all started when the midnight sun rages the night.

Well, let me start with a picture illustration.
The pic that your seeing is a car, named the midnight sun, well my first thought was, gosh, it's a name of a horse, ain't that obvious, Nao the magnificent explained further that it takes you from point A to point B, well, i am all well and fine with that explanation. Then Nao goes on by asking, is that car a female or male? Me, being the mischievous one, drop a million dollar answer to that question. "Doesn't it have a D***?" Well everyone started laughing and then before we know it, Nao continues saying, aren't they all categorize as females as they always take in things? hell would i know what exactly that means, but one thing came into my mind, Gosh, Aaron is riding his car.

ROTFLMAO....

in the morning Ah Beng replied Ahmad Badawi is PM not AM.

A message by George Carlin

Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.
A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways ,
but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and
slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

hilarious malaysia's standard

i literally plugged this out from a friends blog. which i find really hilarious and the stupid translation standard that m'sia has, the guy/gal that made that translation has to be shot

quote "

OMG! You won't believe this!!!

I was watching CSI Vegas tonight, and Gil Grissom mentioned something about the suspect.
He said, "So, he's a serial killer?!"
Then this stupid subtitle shown at the bottom of the screen was "Dia pembunuh bijirin?"

OMG!!!!

Serial killer = pembunuh bijirin!!!!!!! (cereal killer?????)
A killer that hunts and kills cereal!!
How is it done? Pour boiling water on them and make them soggy I guess...

ROFLMAO!!!!

32rd Bon Odori 2008

Venue: Shah Alam Panasonic Stadium

was dragged along to this year's Bon Odori festival, not that i'm not willing to go, but just i was there once, then again, going there again bring back some memories with my old school mates a long long long long time ago. Nothing much has changed since my last visit, so didn't really feel that change shock that i was anticipating, well i guess, a festival is always a festival. :) it would be great fun if to join in the dances, but for me, neh..hehehe. that's why i'm the one that says it's boring...lol...

Just a little info on what Bon Odori is about and why is this day so special.
Obon (お盆?) or just Bon (?) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the departed (deceased) spirits of one's ancestors. This Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. Also called the Feast of Lanterns, it has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon-Odori.

Bon Odori
(盆踊り, meaning simply Bon dance) is an event held during Obon. It is celebrated as a reminder of the gratefulness one should feel toward one's ancestors.

A special day...

28/6/2008

That day is a special day, it's the day i've got a 2nd nephew. The day before, my sis was complaining that she having this weird pain in her stomach, but she can't really determine is the baby is gonna come out, so just to avoid any complication my mom send her to the hospital just in case.

so the normal i went home that evening and my mom came back telling me sis is admitted and the doc says that we have to wait and see, if nothing happens she will be home by tomorrow. And to the delight when i woke up the next morning, my mom was busy cooking something, something really nice, from the smell of it of course, i was woken up by the strong, yummy smell. Being curious, i made my way downstairs and saw mom rushing out the house, then i asked where is she going, she just said that sis has delivered and she's on her way to see her. to my delight, i call sharon and told her the good news, which we had a little argument the night before, then she also shared the joy with and forgotten what happened...phew...then she accused me of trying to sneak pass that..hehehe, well i did. :p

and later in the afternoon, my sis checks out of the hospital and brough the new family back home. due to the late entry, and he has a name. Ryan. Welcome Ryan to the family

sis and baby ryan. :)

Saving of petrol

oh yeah, before i forget, i have been carrying out an experiment on my own on mileage over petrol filled in my little kelisa. When i first got my car, i have achieved 500km with a 30 litre full tank. But as years passes by, the mileage has slightly dropped until 450-480, which in that case losing to around 20-50km per full tank filled.

what i did after the fuel hike, i kept my driving on the highways to 80-80km/h and rev @ 2000rpm, once in a while for pick up, but changes gear when it went up over the 2000rpm mark. as a result, i'm getting slightly over 500km with my last pump of 29.15litre of fuel. i guess i will make it a habit from now on, no more me the speedster reving around on LDP anymore, i'm a good boy and a slow driver...muahahahaha

weekend @ home...

with the blistering hot weather that would torch u up and incinerate you in split seconds, now i am sitting in my room trying to make use of this wonderful day to think about my trip end of this year, it is gonna be a great one, if i plan it properly, and gosh, thinking about it already made me have some stress on getting the right amount of cash for the trip. i have already settle the accommodation and flight portion, now down to the itinerary of the days that i am gonna spend there. i shall post my itinerary when i am done with it.

gosh, this is a little stressful, even much more uncertainty than having a big project..hehehe

is it a shame?...

marriage? is it a shame or one of the happiest thing that had happen to someone. Well a fren of mine was discussion this matter to me regarding the sharing portion of life, even onto the deepest trench, which even marriage news is kept secret, no frens knows about it, until the news spreads off by the bride's frens. Worst case scenarios is to hear it off someone far in relation to that fren, where that fren is a direct fren relationship, which is a housemate before this. so i guess it's pretty hurtful when that housemate found out that his exhousemate was married and he was last to know, he/she, i'm not sure, but still, either side is possible. so i guess friendship take a century to built but an incident to break.

a mistery of how humans brain work. therefore i shall put this under this development research dept of mine. which i call Area51. hehehe...stay tune for more findings....

How's this for an 'Out of Office' message?

Sorry, we can't respond to any emails today:

Something has crashed on the computer, and t

can't stop playing this song

a song that i love very much

名稱:鍾無艷
歌手:謝安琪
作曲:Christopher Chak
填詞:林夕
編曲:陳珀
監製:梁榮駿
(C) 2007 Cinepoly Records Co. Ltd.

petrol to increase as of 12am June 05

RM2.70 is the new petrol price with immediate effect as off midnight tonight. With my kelisa, pumping in around 30 liter of petrol for around 480km run per refill, have to sustain a Rm81 ringgit. from Rm65 -> RM81...around Rm16 ringgit extra per refill, an extra about 70 ringgit per month expenses...time to stay home more n walk more..less driving. oh the contrary, public transport in Malaysia s** to the max. what can be done on that? Nothing has been announced since the new government, so we'll just have to bare with it and shut our mouth up...

sigh...still sad...

streamyx test run...

since i used streamyx, i was on the 512kbps/128kbps package. and recently i took the change to venture a bit and asked around what else can i upgrade to, since i cancel my maxis 3G broadband. it's been dwelling in my mind until i spoke to a tm distributor Jancy yesterday. With some checking, i can't subscribe to the 2mbps package which looks to be the most attractive package that is worth the price, but sadly, after checking, it's not supported and provided to my household.

the jancy told me even if i upgrade to the 1mbps, i would get around 1.3-1.5mbps minimum, unless my copper is so bad..i get 900kbps-1mbps, but he asked if my downstream is fix at what? which i reply it being at 2048kbps. what he suggested is to get a 1mbps account to test it out..which i did. thanks to johnny who borrowed me his account for testing. this is what's projected and what i got

package 512kbps download 60-65KBps = 480kbps
package 1mbps download 150-200KBps= 1.6mbps

therefore, my success of this test shows that it's worth my wild to upgrade from my 512 to 1mpbs. muahahahaa...faster downloading from now on...

way to start a day...

didn't get much sleep last night due to a bug trying to take a bit off me, but at last i got him after so many random tries to kill it. but what happen was while i was swiveling out of my lane, i almost ran into a motorbike, dunno why but i didn't really give him a response to my action, so i just stare straight and even over take him after that while he slowed down n looked at me. as i was moving pass me, he swears at me but i didn't really take into mind n drove my way on. am i right, don't really feel so, but not sure why i didn't say sorry and that pisses him off. hahahaha. what a way to start my day, being cursed at..oh well...back to work..time to go for meeting...

happy anniversay to Kim & Kenny....

she's one of my best friend in college days, did a lot of funky stuff and crazy stuff together, the memory of that day when she got married and attending her wedding dinner. the news of her marriage came of a shock to me, why? cause she was having problem with finding a partner and bla bla bla, suddenly dropped a red bomb on me. hahahaha. well, this is a living prove of what they always say, when it comes, it comes, if it doesn't, no matter how hard you try, it's just not happening, but my clause doesn't mean that you don't have to put any effort in making it a success, it's the process anyway.

Congratulation to the happy married couple on the 1st anniversay celebration. it is certainly a day to remember. may both of you live happily ever after...sounds like a fairy tale eh, muahahaha. well, i do wish the very best for my frens around me.

And the out of all question to ask, i asked her how she felt being in a marriage for 1 year. her direct response to me is, "it's not easy being in a mariage"...hehehe. well, i guess to finally decide n live with someone it always an obstacle, to tolerate and take up the responsibility and commitments. oh well, guess like almost everyone have to go throught that process, it a mix of bitter and sweet. like dark chocolate..hm....yummy...hahahahaha

what are you worth....

am i just too realistic of a guy or am i just an arsehole? a good question that keep bogging in my mind that kept me awake most of my night last night.

Does all girl have a mind of their own or do they really see the future? do maybe i plan to front for the future that i restrain myself for thing to happen or even too controlling that it makes sense to give myself a smack in the head.

sometimes i wonder why do i even want to argue over a dress which is over less than a hundred? hence the question i have when i begin this post. Why can't i just be so happy, willingly and being a bf and say words of angels and buy it for her, why do i have to just be the arsewipe and created a tornado for myself which ended up, looking at the ceiling rethinking about how life sux to the max when that happens during the night...i am speechless when she throw those words that i could not have imagine being spoken to me.

"if you can't even do those simple stuff, why do i even need you for?
should i even be dwelling upon those words?focus on something else n not think about it....

crap, i need to work n get this out of my mind....*fxxk..

early to work...

waking up today was wuss, didn't really think of waking up so early as it took me awhile to fall asleep last night, is it me or anyone else feeling that the afternoon recently seems to be a little hotter than usual. Another odd phenomenon that is happening is that, it bloody rains after that, weird ha. does that mean that apocalypses is around the corner? gosh, now i am freezing my butt in office, due to the air condition is office is not much of a configuration that can be tweak to have the tempt go up. oh well, another day hiding under the sweater of mine.

End of the month of April, how time flies eh, almost half of the year have gone, time to track back on progress for this year, seeing what have been achieve and have not, time to kick some dirt get my hand dirty with stuff.

a lot of on going proposal preparation that is needed for my client, oh how i wish things can go a bit faster where it goes into implementation stage and to see the fruit of all those meeting and discussion and platform meeting with my top two guys in office. well i guess i take ownership of what has been achieve in my life based on the success and satisfaction of the end product that were given and presented to them, that's how i measure it. that's why direct dissatisfaction will trigger me to feel i lost in the battle.

time for breakfast...ciao

late night in office

wow, seriously i can't remember the last time that i spend more than 14 plus hours in office, @ customer's site when i was in my previous department, yeah, but not in the comfy chair in the office. hehehe. not a good sign anyway, oh well, now i am sitting here waiting for my network guys to fix and expand the server of my client site, it's gonna take another hour or two, so i guess it is a good time and chance for me the update my blog since my colleague been bugging me that i am a lazy bum not updating regarding the weekend outing with them @ tgi. hehehe. i was busy ma, i gave the excuse, come to think of it, it's not really an excuse, rather than a scheduling problem where blogging was not in the weekend's plan, was it in there in the first place, inprompt to urge to blog, maybe, hahaha..

i feel asleep last night half sober, not that i drank a lot of beer during the dinner with the gang, many who knew me by someone that doesn't really liked beer, i'm a liquor person, but yesterday i had a cup or two just to celebrate my friend's engagement and he's getting married next month. A gang of 14 of us went out for dinner and for the celebration, we ordered beer, after the dinner, it was around 8 bottles of tiger and 1 bottle of guiness stout, lucky i didn't take the stout, if not, hahaha, don't really like to have a mix when it comes to alcohol. don't want to get caught not able to walk the line...u get what i mean. hehehe.

oh damn, really miss this fella, been awhile since we had a gathering like this. had fun. and i would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the soon to be couple, Mr Timothy Chan and Nicole. may both of you have the greatest joy in preparing for the big day, and with the best of luck and wishes both of u to live happily ever after :)

"all jobs are tough, it's just that how well we simplified it" love the way it sounds, and it hits on how someone loves challenges and take it on directly...with the will power and the heart to learn. no job is a tough job. :)

Sitting after lunch...

Obese..

Just came back from lunch feeling all stock up with protein and calories from the chap fan that i have just gobble in. With the on going price hike in a lot of things, the economy rice that use to call is not economy no more. a few piece of pork chops, small pieces, and one veggie, how much? RM3.70. Plus a soya bean milk RM1.5 = RM 5.20. that's the typical expenditure that one working adult working and eating @ PJ area have to sustain to stay alive while eating outside food, unless you da bao home food to work. maybe i will try that one day, but that gonna cut my sleep hours to wake up even earlier to make the lunch boxes...hm..worth it?will figure out the math behind that....

back to the topic of being obese. hear of the radio today that within the 10 years, obesity in malaysia has grown one fold up to 29% this year, OMG, i know i'm growing side ways, didn't know that a lot of ppl is growing with me. hehehe...good, got kaki...then again, that's maybe the saying when one said "when you can't make me thinner, make my frens fat." evil right? *grin. that's maybe the reason behind why a lot of people nowadays are gaining so much. maybe it's because a lot of Malaysians nowadays know how to enjoy life and eat more prosperiously, that's why, with all the coconut milk in the nasi lemak and rendang, OMG, goodness, luckily i don't eat those for a living, if not, i will be like uncle joe with a weight problem. hehehe.

stay healthy and exercise more Malaysians. now back to work, more exercise for the mind. :)

A decision...

Finally, i have decided not to have a rabbit, the reason behind the big commotion, $$

i have made preliminary calculation of how much a little rabbit/bunny would hamper my monthly financial. Therefore i would like to declare the crazy whooping impulse thought of getting a rabbit has fatally ended. now my focus is still back to my geeky stuff of IT and my ass whooping desktop. Gosh, when am i gonna power it up. hehehe, it's been lying there waiting to be used. i guess i need to drop by at the nearby hypermarket soon to get some power extension to shift my dell baby downstairs to work as a multimedia station for my family, then my monster can occupy the current space and rip in the speed of light to the multimedia world. muahahahaha. time for some 3d games. long waiting to try it out, now i have the power to do so...*giggles.

the following are those i can choose where i have to pay Rm80 for them :) which one would u choose???

Reds into semis

Liverpool 4 - 2 Arsenal

picture taken from soccernet.com

What a night to remember. Although i was not sitting in-front of the square box watching it live, haven't subscribe to Astro for that matter, i felt the tremendous joy as they march on. Liverpool have scored themselves into the semis for the 9th time, short of a premier league trophy, but they are strong in Euro, weird, but am jumping frenziedly as they setup a reunion clash with Chelsea in the semis.

This is another record that Liverpool has achieve by not losing to Arsenal in 3 consecutive games within 7 days time frame.

YNWA...go LIVERPOOL for another Euro glory under Benitez. :)

by winning, i can call my fren, arsenal supporter, and laugh at him cause he was boasting on how Arsenal gonna whoop liverpool's ass since last week's 1st game...hahahahaha..call him up @ 9am and he knew my purpose and gave me the chance to smear his face with my evil laughs.....i love being evil...muahahahahhaha

journey to work

Was struggling to get some sleep after a day at home of sleep, anime, movie, sleep, anime, movie, sleep. sounds boring eh, yeah, i acknowledge the importance of my gf in my life. hehe. she went back to her hometown with her family and i was just lazy to go anywhere to find some fun stuff to pass my weekend. Was suppose to rate some blogs, but was too lazy to read anything. played my PSP for a while or so, got hooked with "burnout" lately, it's a boy's game, racing n whacking other cars off the road.

but anyway, woke up early and left home to work @ 630am, n guess what, the road is already filled with cars when i used the kesas heading down to summit, then making my way back onto federal, gosh, there's really a lot of ppl leaving to work so early. Gosh, does that mean i have to leave even earlier tomorrow. crap, sleepy now, *yawn...and i am hungry. time for food, breakfast i mean. hehe

Waking up early

Jolted up @ 6am this morning, roll around for a few minutes but was unable to denied that the dream had burst, OMG, i wish i could sleep longer, my bio clock just denies my application, zombie off to get ready for work.

when i jumped into my car, my mind was thinking, gosh, it's so early, shouldn't caught in a jam one la, but my happiness burst into thin air when i saw the long queue @ the intersection of summit USJ. WTF?! @ 650am, and looking at the massive amount of cars...it made me think that gosh, if i am to take this route to work leaving my house @ 740am, i'll be in office @ 11am. hahahaha.

anyway, paid the sunway toll to get to office, was a little bumper to bumper there as well but after the cable bridge @ sunway, i am home free. reach office @ 715am.

Engine has started early today. hm....starting to get hungry. hehehe...

Question of the day

my colleague says:
wats poop?

to answer the question, i wikipedia it and below is the explaination:

Poop may refer to:

  • Stern, the rear or aft part of a ship or boat
    • Poop deck, a deck that constitutes the roof of a cabin built in the aft
  • Feces, waste product from an animal's digestive tract expelled through the anus
    • Defecation, the act or process by which organisms eliminate feces
    • Pooper-scooper, used by dog owners to pick up their pet's fecal matter
  • Being pooped, becoming fatigued
and at that moment i was talking about sheep's, go figure..hahahahaha

when the land ain't getting dry...

My leg is aching, due to? the stupid jam that i was stuck in for 1 hours as it rained and some part of klang started to flood, the greatest part is, i'm still in klang, less than 10km away from house after that 1 hour. OMG, out of a sudden i was so emo and feel so much like making a u-turn and head back home and call it a day. hahahaha, but my meeting @ 330 @ my customer's place made me hang on and keep my head cool before i blew myself up...argh...hate that feeling...

at last, i reach my office in one piece, right on the dot where i am not labeled as late. *phew...what a way to start a day. Hurray! tomorrow is a public holiday, can sleep in late a little and dream a little longer..

At the bottom of the a dustbin...

Smelly place ain't it being at the bottom of the dustbin...crap i feel totally like that when i woke up this morning. had a quite weird argument/small fight with my other half last night, didn't get resolved then and there, so the feeling was pinching me even when i woke up this morning. Adding salt to the wound, i misinterpreted some info from my client yesterday, my boss was questioning about why i got it so wrong, i felt that i am pretty useless, crap. how can it go so wrong suddenly and *bo0p i feel like i'm falling endlessly to a deep deep whole....

HELP! *echoes.....

am trying very hard to cheer myself up, although my gf sms me saying everything is okay, she felt better after a good night sleep, the stench is still there, and the bitter taste at the edge of your mouth...felt like i have fought a battle and lost it totally, fatality. sigh....

what is permalink? read on...

To those who were asking what is a "permalink"

A permalink is a URL that points to a specific blog or forum entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives. Because a permalink remains unchanged indefinitely, it is less susceptible to link rot. Most modern weblogging and content-syndication software systems support such links. Other types of websites use permanent links, but the term permalink is most common within the blogosphere. Permalink is a portmanteau word made from permanent link. Permalinks are often simply stated so as to be human-readable.

how was the commercial break?! LMAO. sorry for the long wait. hehe

okay, monoblock for a while.......oh yeah.where was i. right! after the asking of the medium, they gave me and my dad a list of things to buy for qing ming so that we can burn for my ancestors, and a few "Fu" (yellow paper with chinese scribbling on them to chase away evil and etc) to burn for the day after and on the 1st day next month of the chinese calender.

Additional advice that they give us to respect my ancestor, rmbr to put incense and not to quarrel/have dispute in front of them. They said quite a lot of things, but most of them are for us to respect and minimize the unhappy things to happen in the house. After waiting for 20 minutes for my turn, 20 minutes of the session, off i went talking to my dad on what the medium said, but in my heart i was really relief that what was running round in my house wasn't something else but my own ancestors, that's at least won't give me the creep that much. But since that day of the visit to the temple, i was able to sleep better, feel much better and more calm inside my house and my room, suddenly i feel the belonging that i have lack since i moved in...gosh, that feels so good. :)

i've been enjoying my bedtime more recently since i came back from china. gosh. home sweet home.finally.

Thursday, February 28, 2008

Sorry for keeping everyone waiting on the trilling update after you have read the previous one, hehe...okay, here's how the story goes.

a few weeks ago, actually it's the 1st day since i moved in into my new house, i feel something weird, there's a presents in my home which i am not sure what it is, until the day i have made all the modification that i could with my own understanding and philosophy, which i turn to saying that something is wrong somewhere, i blame my mom for having a chinese god into the house and she might not done it the right way, which might have invited some unfriendly parties into the house.

Being pushed up to a corner and no where to go, which i turn to my friends for advice, with her advice i accompanied the only Buddhist in the house, my dad, to the temple and ask the medium what is wrong in my house.

Made an appointment before hand to have this gone through with smoothly, and this is the first time i was witnessing a medium process and eventually asking his things regarding my house. there was a ritual in the beginning for the medium to be possessed. As me and my dad was the first to arrive, we were the 1st one going up to ask, and my dad ask about what is happening to my house, and the medium said that my ancestors are unhappy...cheng cheng cheng....i need to go off now, will continue later..hehehehe...stay tune

Home sweet home...

sitting back in my office wondering how the feeling was so great yesterday when the airplane touches down at KLIA. it never felt so good before, i'm not sure why, but this time around, it really bring a weird rushing emotion.

pretty hot is the first impression that i have after being in a climate between 6 - 17 degrees and landed in 6 hours time @ 26 degrees, a big jump, but i wasn't really sweating much but just the stuffiness of the air of an equatorial country. oh man, it's good to be home, but time to hit the ground running on this that i have to juggle with before things get out of hand. :)

since i got some time sitting here, and believing that such an advance airport should have internet access for the clients, i tried it out and here i am babbling about nothing at all.

how i feel right now, wonderful, cause i am 1/2 way home, at least. hahaha. i'm on Thai Airways home, therefore i have the luxury of stopping @ this new international airport. pretty nice build up, nicer than KLIA i would say. it's pretty huge in side and it looks pretty funky from the outside.

kinda brain dead right now due to flying n exhaustion. blog more later when i smell m'sia air..hehehe

A new year ...

time really flies as i wasn't able to get a post up on the dot itself but what the heck, better later then never. Happy 2008 everyone. :)

you might be asking, where the hell this bugger spend his new year eve? hehe i spend it in lala land, doze off coming back from work feeling like a zombie without a fresh meat. Just like that how i spend Christmas eve, lying on the bed and wish, "i am home. i am home", minus the little red shoe of cause.

The year started without a bang, but bang bang bang it started my year in China. oh well, have to live with that. there aren't many new years that i spend overseas, but this one, priceless, why, cause i missed all the wonderful holiday or leave clearing opportunity that i could have, which i would have seize it, but couldn't due to the tight schedule that i have planned out so that i could bail out as fast as possible, still i am stuck here for 1 month plus already, such a pain.

But at least my company has the courtesy of having the team at Hong Kong for a 2 days 1 night trip. Didn't get to do much for such a small trip but as all the pervious trip, this one didn't fall short of walking my butt all over Hong Kong, that for sure, came back having my knees and my leg all screaming for a chair/sleep. Oh well, have to live by that, anyhow, today is Saturday and gosh, i need to work as well, as well as Sunday tomorrow. time to wake the rest up for their morning shower before it's too late.

got to go. take care y'all
