Okay, news from Fomula1

Well, i think a lot of ppl might already know that Hamilton won and Massa was second, while Kimi came in third after a pit stop switch to have Massa take the chequered flag in 2nd place. Now all teams will head to Brazil to the final round as Hamilton has a commanding lead of 7 points. he could just take 5th to win him the driver's trophy and being the first black and youngest driver to win a championship. Well, by just doing so, that means Mclaren will be conceding their constructor's to Ferrari, something that they have to wary about how they are going to play the game of putting their car as Heikki is a bit of a disappointment lately of a few DNF forcing Mclaren to only have Hamilton accummulating the points. So, let wait for the finale on the 2nd of Nov to see who is crown the F1 driver champion for 2008. :)

i put my bet on Massa...hehehe

Wrapping up the sports weekend

Liverpool equal the top with a win @ home against Wigan 3-2. Two goals from Kuyt, where they trail 2 goals before claiming the win. Well, my heart almost popped out cause the leader Chelsea pounded Middlesbrough 5-0. And they seems to be quite fit and soon, the big game will come when both of them clash in the coming weeks.

All hail Kuyt this week. Hopefully Robby Keane will start some scoring escapade soon. com'on Keane...

Another event to follow is the Shanghai formula1 championship, second to last round of the 2008 formula1 championship, due to the driver scoring to be so close, there might be a winner in this race, else it will be determine @ the last race in brazil.

The Driver Score at the moment.

01 Lewis Hamilton 84
02 Felipe Massa 79
03 Robert Kubica 72

And the constructors standing
01 Ferrari 142
02 McLaren-Mercedes 135
03 BMW Sauber 128

Well my money would be on Felipe Massa, and even alonso vow to help him if that chance arise to let him pass and for him to gather more point to notch up Lewis Hamilton for the crown. Personally, i never liked Hamilton, he's young, fast, but too arrogant and too stupid sometimes. I've seem ruthless driving before in the schumacher era where schumacher will run anyone down for that matter, but Hamilton is just a different case. Robert Kubica could be acting like that Kimi did last year to come from 3rd of the standing and then snatch a win @ the end of the championship, but then, Kubica is starting out of the top 10 placing due to a setup problem during qualifying hence dropping him of the Q3 qualifying. A lot to watch for when the race start around 2pm today.

Birthday gift 2008

Well, this is an extremely late late late super late posting, reason is i was lazy to take out my camera to take a shot at it. hehe. finally i did and i found the time to put it up. :)

As you could see in the picture that it's a Parker pen, and this no ordinary Parker pen, as it's from that someone special and it has my initial engraved on it.

This gift came to me quite surprisingly as i have already hinted to sharon that i'm okay if i don't receive a gift this year due to the plan that had to go to hong kong for our trip which will cost us both a fair bit. But with this i was given a surprise, i loved it. Although it's just a simple gift, a gift that didn't cost too much, but yet, it symbolise the love, attention and care that she could show to me, even when i insisted that i'm alright without it. Inside the secret comparement that the box has, there's a little note inside, well, i'm not going to publish that note. Well, some of you might just fall flat on their face if i do, but then, i rather kept it to myself. muahahahaha. *warm.

Thank you baby for the gift. i love it a lot. i'll have it carry with me all the time that i could.

my initial on it. :)

running over stuff

not sure if it's a sign for me to drive slower lately as i saw a few indication of very dangerous emergency breaking of cars in front and even those besides of me. well i did not really have notice them until i sort of knock off the toll gate barrier stick this morning. Well, i blame it on the stupid technology that they use for the toll gates. During peak hours, traffic increases and therefore the line up, and the purpose of getting a smart tag is all about not winding down your window and queue. But there's a lot of times when some rich kid/uncles, who do not maintain their unit, which causes jam on the fast smart tag lane. Other than that, what happened this morning is that the barrier did not response fast enough when i pass through it and whoop, off it went swinging to the sides. it's not entirely my fault as my unit was scanned and money was deducted....why can't malaysia do it the SG ERP way, there's good and bad about it as rumor says that the ERP emits hell a lot of radiation as it's pretty powerful to detect even fast passing cars. Singaporeans die faster i guess...Best still if all road are toll less...that day will never come. just hoping now more doesn't come up.

lost my temper on a holiday @ manhattan fish market...

Well, first of all, i would like to greet all my Malay frens and their family "Selamat Hari Raya" as it's their new year. :)

Well, having a two days holiday makes ppl move around, especially on this festive season, and i decided to drop by ikea @ ikano center to look for some decoration idea for my room, need some resuffling around to make space. So happily drove down without much of a hassle as the traffic was good and clear. That brought smile onto both me and sharon's face. Well, what a better way to enjoy a day off doing some small shopping stress free. When i was thinking further of enjoying my day, it all started when i was about to turn into ikea from the highway. OMG. the jam started from there before even the traffic lights. i endure and moved in inch by inch and finally found a parking @ the curve being partly empty. Which doesn't really explain why the jam, oh well, not gonna give much thought to that. Maybe during the off days, ppl won't bring their brains out.

Walking around and seeing stuff wasn't that bad until we decided to grab some food. All the food outlets are pack with ppl in ikano, and due to that we'll be going into ikea, so we decided to have a quick lunch and move forwards. Paving around to decide where to land, we end up in Manhattan Fish Market. We were greeted when we stepped in and we shown to a table. Due to the festive season, i notice that only 8 person, including those in the kitchen are working to manage the whole place. Well, good management and coordination might just pull it off. After deciding what to order, it took me a while to practically grab a waiter to take my orders. Present at that time was around 10 table of customer, a few family groups. After the waiter taking my order, without writing them down, she just speed of telling another waiter about my order and then disappear into the kitchen, well, i could see her helping out throught the transparent kitchen concept that they constructed. Not too long after us, a goup of 6 ppl came and sat not far from us, and they were served promptly, which eventually their drinks went to them and not reach my table while i was observing. At that very moment, i told sharon that if their food comes first and not even my drinks, that's it, i'm walking away. i waited for another 5 mins, then and there i noticed that there are a few table that are missing their portion of the order, and the waiter as running up and down to calm other patrons down, i gave a look at sharon and both of us just stood up and walked away, i'm pretty furious inside and thinking, darn, i know it's bad for you guys to work on a your new year's day, but if your so down in man-power. for the sake of it, close the shop down rather than risking your reputation. And i guess this is the first time that i've done this. I guess it won't be the last i think. From today onwards, i shall ban myself from patronising Manhattan Fish Market @ Ikano Power Center until further notice. i end up lining up for hot dog @ ikea. sigh. then again, i ended up back in klang for pan mee later on. nice....

i'm not being racist or anything, just usual ranting about bad service that's all. happy holidays!
